Also, anyone remember when everyone thought this episode would get banned in the US?
Yes, I remember that, Dogasu.And I'm glad they didn't ban the Jynx episode.
"Three Jynx and a Baby" was a good title. Though, I have to agree with what everyone else said. The episode itself was pretty boring, even for me (Battle Frontier season and voice issue aside, I usually enjoy most Pokemon episodes).
And by the way, I thought Ash's line near the beginning sounded terrible, where he said something like, "Okay, now I'm really mad". I hated that scene. Oh dear god, that really made me cringe. It's like I keep saying, Sarah just can't get Ash's emotion right, and it shows.
TR was hardcore in this episode. Attacking humans again, eh?
Yeah, apparently.Poor Ash. I wanted to hug him when I saw him hurt so badly. ;_;
And when I saw Team Rocket do that, I immediately thought of the episode "Current Events" from Johto League Champions (season 4). You know, that's the first time Team Rocket attacked Ash like that.
I didn't expect the writers would have that happen again. Team Rocket sent a Poison Tail right to Ash's back. Ouch, that must've hurt! And from the looks of it, Ash was in a lot of pain after that!
And in that one scene he sneezed. I wonder if getting hit with a strong Poison attack caused him to catch a cold or something?
Anyway, as for the battle, that was a very good one, and I had a feeling it would end like that. The battle wasn't in Ash's favor from the beginning. The way the episode ended was very interesting though. And I can't wait to see the next episode!
Oh, and I know that Ash would do anything to save Pikachu and stop it from getting hurt. But running in front of that Volt Tackle attack seemed a bit drastic, especially after what happened to him earlier (getting hit by Poison Tail). Was he still hurt from before, or had he completely recovered from the previous attack?
And another thing, how does he manage to keep getting back up after strong Pokemon attacks like those? He's incredible!! Pokemon attacks just don't phase him for some reason.
Anyway though, "Talking A Good Game" was a very good episode. I really enjoyed it!! It's one of the few Battle Frontier episodes I've actually liked (if I ignore the fact that I hate Ash's new voice, it allows me to enjoy the episodes more). I loved the scenes with Anabel communicating with the Beedril. And I really loved the part where she talked to Pikachu. That was awesome!! It was great the way she translated for Pikachu (Anabel: "It says you can be rash sometimes."). And also, there was a nice Pikashipping hint in that scene somewhere. I forget where exactly, but I know I saw a hint. I was like, "OMG! Pikashipping!". XD
Oy, this is the beginning of Ash's need to throw himself in front of his battling Pokémon. Whee. >.>
Beginning? You mean I'm gonna be seeing more of that with the next episodes?Wow! Now that's intense!!
I mean, I know that the writers like giving Ash his Main Character Abuse (that's what I call this, whenever they make him get hurt badly). But that's just overdoing it, in my opinion.
If the writers aren't careful, they'll end up accidentally killing him one of these days. Unless, of course, it's canon that Ash is immortal. LOL. XD
Just kidding, I don't really know if that's true or not.
