I'm just terribly disappointed with the hype. The one reason I'm desperately hoping this isn't the next gen games is because I truly enjoy the like 2 years leading up where we get new pokemon first every year around April, and then they all start trickling in. It's like sex, foreplay's never a bad thing. If this being the next generation truly is the case I'm very bothered by the lack of foreplay we've seen. The mindfucking with silhouettes and the always fun April Fools day won't be the same. It just won't be as much fun if like 5 pokemon get revealed before the release, and then they just drop like 100 something pokemon on us.

I've been jonesing for gen V to come for like 2 years now, but because I was expecting to only be seeing like one pokemon at first. I've always known that the fifth gen would come, and all this stuff. It isn't like I'm not a believer in that. I just really hate that they may just be suddenly dropping this all on us. Realistically, seems like bad marketing anyway, if they could have been milking gen 5 in spurts for the past year or two.
