Meet Ash is a Pokémon guide book for beginning readers. It summarizes Ash Ketchum's adventures throughout the anime starting from the beginning of his journey in Pallet Town up until Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl. It was written by Michael Teitelbaum and published by BradyGames (under the "DK Readers" imprint) in 2008.

• The book implies that Professor Oak giving out a Pikachu (alongside the other first partner Pokémon) is usual, which is an incorrect statement, as it is known that Ash's Pikachu was a special case.
• The book claims that "every major city has a Pokémon gym", which is not the case, as there are several major cities without Gyms.
  • The book itself later calls Jubilife City the largest city in Sinnoh, which contradicts the prior claim, as it does not have a Gym.
• At one point, the book insinuates that Gary does not care about his Pokémon, which is odd, as the book covers anime plot points all the way through Sinnoh, by which point it is well established that this is not the case.
