A Lansat Berry (Japanese: サンのみ Sang Fruit) is a type of Berry introduced in Generation III.

Effect

Held item

A Lansat Berry raises the holder's critical-hit ratio by two stages when the holder's HP drop to ¼ or below. If the holder has Gluttony, then it eats its Lansat Berry when its HP drops to ½ or below. The Lansat Berry's effect is not affected by Ripen.

When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, Bug Bite, or Item Urge, it raises the critical-hit ratio of the consumer by two stages.

A Lansat plant will yield 1-5 Berries. During its growth, watering the plant adds 0.1 Berries to the final harvest, weeding it adds 0.1, and removing a pest adds 0.5. Lansat plants attract Ledyba as pests.

In Treasure Hunt, Akala Style!, Mallow found a Lansat Berry during a Stoutland Search treasure hunt set up for Ash and his classmates by Olivia. This Berry was noted to be larger than normal Lansat Berries. Two Lansat Berries also appeared on a holographic screen during Sophocles's first hunt for treasure.
