Fallout: Hyper Training | Page 4

I see a lot of people saying that this makes cheating Pokemon easier. While that is technically potentially true, I think hyper training as we understand it is still a good thing. Not only because cheating is going to happen anyway, but I think the better design philosophy is to simply lower the barrier to entry.

We all know how important good IVs can be and get how paradoxically difficult they make getting them legitimately in game. So many turn to cheating in order to fix that problem, especially for legendaries for which there is basically no other recourse. On the other hand, I do think that many would not cheat if they felt that they had a reasonable alternative, and hyper training potentially gives those players that option. This is always a good thing.

Basically gives those people who don't want to cheat, but previously felt compelled to, a reasonable alternative to doing so. This also levels the playing field a bit between those who cheat and those who don't, which is always a good thing. And maybe I'm being naive here, but I honestly think that most people don't want to cheat when they don't feel like they have to.
